Welcome to ICSAE-XII
On behalf of Indonesian organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 12th International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Environment (ICSAE-XII), which will be held in Bali, Indonesia by Research and Development Center for Biotechnology and Biodiversity (P3BB), Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia in collaboration with University of Udayana, Indonesia
This event is intended for all relevant stakeholders: researchers, scholars, engineers, resources managers, students, policy-makers, and all those interested in agricultural and environmental sciences. The conference provides a great opportunity to build worldwide networks, as well as to share knowledge and experiences on the current advances in sustainable agricultural and environmental topics.
Conference Scope
This meeting is organized to bring together academics and professionals to discuss current research initiatives and their applications in agriculture and the environment. The topics of this conference include agricultural systems, climate change and environment, and policy and politics in environment. See “Conference Topics” for more detail.
A scientific committee will review the submitted papers and allocate them to either oral or poster sessions. Accepted papers will be considered for publication in an online conference proceeding based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the conference publisher.
Conference Topics
The topics of the conference include, but not limited to, the areas listed below:
1. Agricultural Systems
General agriculture, biodiversity, plant and animal genetic resources, biotechnology in agriculture, plants and animal production, farming systems, soil science, agriculture social and economics, agriculture management, and technology for agriculture are the scope of agricultural systems.
2. Climate Change and Environment
Environmental sciences, local ecological knowledge, soil, water, and climate, climate change, structures and environment, ecosystem services and range lands, agroecology, waste management, water and wastewater treatment, maintenance and operation, surface and groundwater resources, and hydraulic structure.
3. Policy and Politics in Environment
The field of “Policy and Politics in Environment” examines the intricate interplay between governmental policies, political processes, and environmental issues. It delves into how policies are developed, implemented, and influenced by political considerations, and how these policies, in turn, impact the environment.

Selected paper will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science scheduled at first quarter of 2026.
Please note that an author could only present in maximum 2 papers regardless the author position.
Hybrid Conference
ICSAE-XII will take place in a hybrid format. Participants can choose to attend in person (On Site) in Grand Istana Rama Hotel, Kuta, Bali, Indonesia or join virtually and present their work through Zoom (Online).
